Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Co., Inc. started operating a multi-language hotline for migrant workers

April 28th, 2021

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Co., Inc. started operating a multi-language (currently 8 languages*1) hotline, called , on March 31, 2021. This hotline, part of human rights due diligence, allows migrant workers in Japan to easily have consultations concerning worries about the workplace or their work. If the consulting worker wishes, the details of the consultations over the AWV dedicated app and email are anonymously reported to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Co., Inc. through a third-party organization (The Global Alliance for Sustainable Supply Chain; ASSC*2).  Ģ¹½ÊÓƵ Co., Inc. and ASSC will respond according to the content of the consultation so that the personal information of the consulting worker will not be leaked or such worker will not be treated improperly. Currently, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Co., Inc. and some affiliated companies operate AWV, and in the future, we plan to roll this out to suppliers and contract manufacturers so that migrant workers working there can also use AWV.
